Assisting 101 is a dental assisting program that was started with the help of experienced dental professionals, including dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants.
Our program was designed to teach the practical skills and knowledge necessary for success in the day-to-day aspects of dental assisting. Our goal is to provide a fun, informative, hands-on, and affordable education to our students.
Our team is dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential and we are committed to going above and beyond to help them achieve their goals.

What Makes A101 Unique?
convenient classes: we understand that life can be busy and finding time to attend classes can be challenging. That’s why we offer convenient Saturday and Sunday classes, making it easy to work around your schedule. From the moment you register, you’ll have access to our online platform, which includes videos, PowerPoints, modules, and quizzes, ensuring that you’re learning the material at a pace that suits you
Extensive hands-on training: We believe that hands-on training is essential to becoming a successful dental assistant. During in-person class time, our students have a full day of hands-on training and practice with fellow classmates in an actual dentist’s office. With the academic portion completed on our platform, it allows us to dedicate almost all of our in-person class time to hands-on training. Our students receive a more immersive experience that provides them with real-life scenarios they will face in their careers.
internships for real-life experience: Our internship program is another unique feature that sets us apart. We help students find and allow students to come into our facility for an internship that gives them even more real-life experience. We understand that it can be difficult and nerve-racking for students the first time, so we help them get over their first-time jitters. We provide guidance and mentorship to help them succeed in the internship and prepare them for the real world.
Job placement and interview coaching: Assisting 101 is dedicated to helping our students find employment after graduation. We will help you write your first dental resume and provide interview coaching so that you’re prepared for the real world. Many of our students that follow our advice and complete tasks on time have found a job by graduation date. We take pride in helping our students transition from the classroom to a successful career.

Our instructors go above and beyond to ensure that our students are prepared and set up for success. They are dedicated to providing the best education and mentorship to our students. Our success is dependent on our students’ success, and we take pride in seeing our students excel in their careers.
About the Founders
Assisting 101 Dental Assisting School was founded by two dental professionals, Dr. Michael Mansouri and Mehrdad Mansouri, RDH. With a combined experience of over 30 years in the dental industry, they recognized the need for a high-quality dental assisting program that could help prepare students for a successful career in this growing field.
Dr. Mansouri is a practicing dentist and the CEO of Mansouri Family Dental, a leading dental practice in Georgia. He is a graduate of Temple University and has completed extensive post-graduate training in implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and orthodontics. Mehrdad Mansouri, RDH, is a registered dental hygienist and has worked in the dental industry for over 25 years. He is committed to helping patients achieve optimal oral health, and this passion extends to his work with Assisting 101. Dr. Mansouri and Mehrdad Mansouri are passionate about helping students achieve their career goals. They believe that education should be accessible and affordable, which is why they offer competitive tuition rates and flexible scheduling options. Their commitment to student success is reflected in the high job placement rate of Assisting 101 graduates.

I enjoyed my experience here at dental assisting 101. The class was in a hybrid format, so we had online work to do where we could move at our own pace and we would meet up once a week and it was more so hands-on learning. I found the internships through the program very helpful because we got to get more hands on experience.

i had so much fun doing their dental assistant program. if you are looking for something more hands on and not to much of a lecture type. this is the program for you. they give you a lot of help whether it’s more one on one or you come to their externship and you get to get a feel for how things will be once you get a job. i think the pace was perfect and everything they teach in class is stuff you’ll study on their online platform. i want to thank dodd, and all the other instructors for taking the time to teach us everything we needed to know and being patient.
