We Help You Get Hired!
Assisting 101 offers a unique and comprehensive job placement service that sets us apart from other programs. We understand that finding a dental assisting job can be intimidating, which is why we’ve developed a career-building program to assist our online or on-site students.
Our goal is for all of our graduating students to feel confident walking into a job interview. Starting in the 5th week of your training, you’ll be assigned a personal career coach who will assist you in the following areas:
Professional Resume:
During the orientation process you will receive a resume template, mailed or emailed, so you can start creating your professional resume.
Our career coaches will reach out to you during the second week of enrollment and start working with you individually to prepare a unique cover letter and improve your professional resume.
Pre-Job Search:
In this day and age of the digital world, most of your future employers will get their first impression of you from online sources. Our career coaches will work with you to make sure your digital foot print is also professional so that it could help you secure your new job. They will discuss the best ways to use your social media accounts such as Facebook, Instagram and others to your advan
Mock Interview preparation:
Our coaches will practice mock interviews with you to teach proper interview etiquette and protocols. They will review the common questions asked during interviews and the correct way of answering those questions. They will also coach you on how to dress and present yourself as a dental professional.
Job Placement:
Our coaches will give you insight on the best avenues to search for a new job. We will connect you with all of the networks and groups used by dentists looking for an assistant. We will also help you put your name out to the local recruits so that you can

I enjoyed my experience here at dental assisting 101. The class was in a hybrid format, so we had online work to do where we could move at our own pace and we would meet up once a week and it was more so hands-on learning. I found the internships through the program very helpful because we got to get more hands on experience.

i had so much fun doing their dental assistant program. if you are looking for something more hands on and not to much of a lecture type. this is the program for you. they give you a lot of help whether it’s more one on one or you come to their externship and you get to get a feel for how things will be once you get a job. i think the pace was perfect and everything they teach in class is stuff you’ll study on their online platform. i want to thank dodd, and all the other instructors for taking the time to teach us everything we needed to know and being patient.
