For Dental Assistants, this 8-hour course meets the Coronal Polishing Certification requirements of the Georgia Board Of Dentistry. To provide students with a convenient and complete learning experience, this course will combine both online and in-person learning.

Dental Assistant Eligibility

To be eligible to attend dental assistant must meet one of the following criteria:

  1. Be a graduate of a one (1) year accredited dental assisting program or a dental assisting program approved by the Board, or 
  2. Have been employed as a chair side assistant by a licensed dentist for a continuous twelve (12) month period within the previous three (3) years.  
  3. In addition, the candidate must have a high school diploma, or the equivalent thereof and proof of current CPR certification.

Course Details

This program offers 8 hours of clinical and didactic education required by the Georgia Board of Dentistry for certification in coronal polishing. 

Step 1: Register

Step 2: As soon as you register, you will receive access to our Online Learning Platform to start learning the academic information needed to complete the program. 

Step 3: Upon completion of the online portion, the hands-on training will be scheduled. Your certification will be awarded upon completion of both parts.
