We have two comprehensive Dental Assisting Programs
for our students
1. Hybrid program:
1 to 6 month hybrid program comprised of 8 online academic sessions, 4 webinars and 27 hours of comprehensive in-office hands on training with optional 21 hours of clinical shadowing rotation.
Per high demand and requests from our previous students, we designed this program to bring the academic portion of the assisting classes to your fingertips. Our enhanced educational lectures filled with rich illustrations, demonstration videos, and instructor voice over the slide shows, will provide a better than in person understanding of each subject.
Each student will be assigned an instructor who will be in constant contact to ensure your progress in each step. Students in this program will also receive a welcome kit that will include their book, study materials, dentition models, Alginate impression kit, pouring model kit, X-Ray kit, and scrubs. This will allow you to get hands on with different dental material and get to practice in the comfort of your home.
Students can complete this hybrid program at their own pace and upon completing each online session with successfully passing the competency exams, they can move to the next session.
This program is one of the few in nation that will allow an eager student that is willing to study every day and wants to complete this program as fast as one month, a possibility. However, if someone wants to take more time to attend to other life responsibilities and take this course at a slower pace, you can do so and still complete this program within a reasonable time frame.
There will be 2 hours of webinar each week that our students are invited to attend to ask questions and review any subject matter that they would like to learn more information about.
Externship is not a requirement to graduate from this program but we highly recommend 80hrs of externship at your local dental office for additional understanding of the tasks you will be performing. It is also a great opportunity to do an externship at an office that you may be interested in seeking future employment. However, your curriculum will offer 21 hours of optional shadowing at our private office that must be pre scheduled.
This program is part of our rolling enrollment system, which means upon your registration approval you can start this program at any time. This program’s cost is $2950.00. Click on tuition tab for financial options & detail.
2. Traditional Program:
This program is the traditional 8 week long program that will consist of in office-lectures and training on Saturdays from 8am till 5pm.
The Lectures will be given in our state of the art facility in Marietta, GA. To keep the quality of our training high, the space in these classes are limited. This program is only offered 6 times a year (January, March, May, July, September, November).
These classes are designed to focus our teachings on practical clinical skills that dental assistants use on a day to day basis. Usually a subject is presented in the morning lecture and during the afternoon those tasks will be practiced in our operatories. Our small classes have two or more instructors to create a more intimate teaching environment.
Upon your registration for this traditional program an orientation date will be set that will be mandatory to attend. During this orientation, your study materials such as books and scrubs are provided.
One thing that is unique to our in-office training program is that we already include 48 hours of shadowing during those 8 weeks within our office.
This is a great program for those that are free on Saturdays and don’t mind driving to our facility can truly appreciate what this program has to offer.
This program’s cost is $3950.00. Click on the tuition tab for financial options and details.
